To me, it's all about real estate.

13" == 1280x800

15" == 1440x900

~= 27% more real estate, so I would throw that in your oven bag and shake it.

Me, personally, I intend to get two -- one of the tiny Sony Vaio Lifestylers with the 1600x768 8" screen, and a huge HP dv8t with the full 1080p 18" screen.

I gotta say, I went from a 15" Powerbook to a 13" Macbook and I thought that the 13" form factor was the tits. But then a few years ago my boss bought me a 17", and while yes, it is a pain in the ass to carry, I really got hooked on the whole "having a no compromise machine" everywhere I went. I'd say it depends on how you lug it around. Going around town for me, it wasn't bad, because you can drive anywhere in Vegas. It was only really annoying when travelling via plane.

A relative in my office offered one of his Snow Leopard licenses to me (he bought the family pack), I assume there will be no issues installing this on my Macbook right?

No, you won't have any problem.

Ok and thanks, I'll have a go tonight.

One relatively major bug I've been having with 10.6.2 is the inability to write file directories to FAT-formatted flash drives. It's fairly well documented in the Apple forums, and if it's not fixed in 10.6.3, I'll be pretty pissed at Apple.
