penger Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Hackintosh Netbook users take note: Snow Leopard 10.6.2 update kills support for Atom Processor - OS X Daily
Sherwood Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 The Mini9book is, as of yet, unaffected. Never updating anything ever, though.
grawk Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 yah, I may update my toshiba nb205 to 10.6.1, but I dunno, 10.5.7 is good so far.
HeadphoneAddict Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 So, if we want to do a Hackintosh with our 10.6.0 DVD later, but can't do it until after 10.6.2 is out, how do we get to 10.6.1? I was planning to do this someday, but I can't rush out and do it before 10.6.2 hits the wild.
Grahame Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Keep a copy of this? Mac OS X v10.6.1 Update

penger Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Latest Mac OS X 10.6.2 beta build brings back Atom support It seems all may be well again.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 5, 2009 Report Posted November 5, 2009 Well...except...did they return Power Mac support?
Hopstretch Posted November 5, 2009 Author Report Posted November 5, 2009 So, Fortune have a "CEO of the Decade" package running on Steve Jobs and among all the bullshit are some really cool pictures. When I looked carefully at the background in this one, I LOLed and then got up and did a little happy dance! Known for not buying furniture, Jobs was photographed in his Los Gatos, Calif., living room for Time magazine in 1982.
Hopstretch Posted November 5, 2009 Author Report Posted November 5, 2009 The deck is a Gyro SE Mk1, with the aluminium platter. Jobso knows from classic designs!

The Monkey Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 I now officially love the new Apple Mouse. It's not perfect, but it's really really good.

jinp6301 Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 I now officially love the new Apple Mouse. It's not perfect, but it's really really good. Dont you think its a bit small? or do I have enormous hands
ojnihs Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Yeah, it should be bigger. That's what she said... Anyway, I have small hands and if I didn't like my MX Revolution so much I'd probably take a look at this one.
The Monkey Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Apple store is down as of 12:30 am.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Probably introducing some new shit.
blessingx Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 It was over in the deals thread, but don't miss the free Macheist goodies. WriteRoom fan here. MacHeist nanoBundle
The Monkey Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 I find the macrumors message boards/forum to be surprisingly useless. Just sayin'.
Hopstretch Posted November 9, 2009 Author Report Posted November 9, 2009 Agreed. If you have a problem the Apple support forums are a better bet, even though they're a bitch to plow through.
Grahame Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Agreed. If you have a problem the Apple support forums are a better bet, even though they're a bitch to plow through. Heresy! "they just work" Burn the un-believer!
