elnero Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Tried calling but just got the answering machine, I sent Brittany an email but if I don't get a reply I'll just have to order.
episiarch Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 What grawk said. You place the order and they more or less don't care when your impressions arrive. (My impressions were several weeks behind due to similar sorts of scheduling complications.) Go for it.
episiarch Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Also you can change your mind about color, artwork etc. up until they have your impressions. Yes, they ask for that at the time of order, but you can shoot them an email later on to make changes.
GPH Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 For someone even mildly interested in the JH13, this is a no brainer deal.
blessingx Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I'll never doubt Facebooks usefulness again! Just jumped on this FOTM. Now to find an alternative to our local strike two "rock-star" audiologist.
elnero Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Got a reply from Brittany. Ordered! On a side note, $75 shipping to Canada!!
Salt Peanuts Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 On a side note, $75 shipping to Canada!! Damn. Good thing you're ordering during a sale.
Spychedelic Whale Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) I had to pay the same for Portugal via UPS :| But nice deal enjoy it. Edited May 13, 2010 by Spychedelic Whale
GPH Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Congrats Phil! Yeah, the shipping is outrageous, I got lucky with Black Friday deal including free shipping. I was going to say something about UPS customs fees, but I'll keep quiet so you stay happy.

Asr Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I would recommend folks not to order from the online store on JH Audio's Web site - right now I'm seeing it serve up spyware (!).
luvdunhill Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 yup, it's been doing that for a while, I notified them. Be careful when navigating their site.
PFKMan23 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 yup, it's been doing that for a while, I notified them. Be careful when navigating their site. So stay away from ordering from their website? And yes I got some bizarre security warning when I first went to their site

VPI Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 He already knows about it and is trying to come up with which of the heavy ass things we moved into his fourth floor walk-up apartment last weekend he could sell to fund these.
episiarch Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I'll never doubt Facebooks usefulness again! To be fair, they tweeted it too; I just happened to hit FB at the right moment to see it there first. Now to find an alternative to our local strike two "rock-star" audiologist.Shauna at Selective Sounds did good impressions for my Westones a couple years ago. San Jose based I believe.
K3cT Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Ah crap, they have to do this just after I have finished ordering the parts for β22!
Grahame Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I had Kathy Peck do mine H.E.A.R. | Affiliates | Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers But this guy Contact Us seems to have a satisfied customer the Audiologists impressions thread (pun most definitely intended ) - Page 2 - Head-Fi.org Community and the price/technology looks right!

Guest h.rav Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Just pulled the trigger, the price is too good.
LarsMarkelson Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 So I just got word from UE about the UE18 cable: You can only purchase the this cable if you own a UE18. Best regards, David Gutierrez Artist Rep. Ultimate Ears

I don't think there is anything I could sell really right now to fund these, gonna have to wait until I start getting paid I think. Fortunately, the deal is over, so I don't have to agonize over it all night. Edited May 13, 2010 by cetoole
