boomana Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 As should you for choosing that avatar. Seriously.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 The same sadly cannot be said about women. Maybe they wouldn't bitch if you fucking pleased them.
mypasswordis Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Maybe they wouldn't bitch if you fucking pleased them. I'll start pleasing them when they stop bitching at me and everything else they can think of. And some for being whores.
The Monkey Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Just a quick note. I just got home after a 2.5 hour bus ride. I listened to the JH13 straight from the iPhone for about 1/3 of it. The time whizzed by. One thing I've noticed about the JH13 is the immersive quality of it. I can really zone out with these things. But they're not in the least bit boring. And the soundstage is unlike any I have heard. That's part of what I mean when I say "immersive." I don't feel like I'm in the audience. I feel like I'm on the fucking drum kit. That's awesome.
MexicanDragon Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Blah blah blah JH13s are awesome blah blah blah And wasn't crappy just saying in the chat earlier that the raving has died down a bit? Heh, I think the tertiary wave of rave is nigh upon us. **BRENT**
The Monkey Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I still wish they had a touch more bass.
GPH Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I still wish they had a touch more bass. It might be a question of fit, but I think the bass quantity on my pair is perfect. More of it might be a bit too much for my tastes. For reference, I think the SR-007 out of a KGSS has just the right amount of bass for headphones.

But I think that IEMs benefit from just a bit more of a bump. But it's just a matter of taste. The JH 21.2 should do the trick.
Voltron Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Fit issue! Bass should be great and plentiful.
MexicanDragon Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Fit issue! This is why one should fly to Apopka and get it done. Or Chicago in a few months, or... Has anyone had a fit issue if they got the molds done by an in-house person? **BRENT**
The Monkey Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Fit issue! Bass should be great and plentiful. Disagree. Fit is pretty much right on. Could be an amp issue, though.

Agree. After listening to the JH13 out of the Sansa Clip+ for about 10 days during my holiday travels, I sat down today with the home setup (ECD-1 and GS-1) for some time. After many cds I was thinking that maybe I should get rid of this excess clutter (WA5-LE, HD800, HD650, AD2000, ... ). In the end, I realized that I would just end up buying more clutter to fill its space.... but, yeah, they are much better than I imagined any IEM could possibly be and more.
Voltron Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Well I was being a bit facetious, but I thought you said your were listening out of the iPhone.
The Monkey Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Well I was being a bit facetious, but I thought you said your were listening out of the iPhone. -10 sense of humor points for me.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I still wish they had a touch more bass.EQ? How's the reach (extension vs. quantity)?
The Monkey Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 extension = excellent (think stats) quantity = very good (er, think stats) I guess I want some mid-bass hump. You can take the boy out of mid-fi...
Voltron Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 extension = excellent (think stats) quantity = very good (er, think stats) I guess I want some mid-bass hump. You can take the boy out of mid-fi... Now, see, that's damn funny.
Salt Peanuts Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I really like the blue, Dinny. Is it as dark as it appears on the pic?
The Monkey Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Thanks! Just a bit darker, I think, especially in darker ambient surroundings, but the pic is pretty close.
Augsburger Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Nice pics Dinster. I have MWB as well but still waiting on the inlays.
shellylh Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Ooooh, I like the MWB better than Carolina Blue.
Deadneddz Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I like the color as well. It looks very similar to the my former UE11s. When I went to the UE headquarters to get them, I went into their mixing room and they mixed up different colors for me. I ended up choosing a color that was almost the exact color as those. Aww I miss custom iems...
