Salt Peanuts Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 I guess I'll have to put my weight loss plans on hold until there's news of the JH13's true successor. x2. Any excuse not to exercise is welcome here.
manaox2 Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 x2. Any excuse not to exercise is welcome here. There is medical documentation supporting that a healthy weight with lower blood pressure helps your hearing. I'm kind of lucky that I don't have to exercise much to lose weight if I just eat healthy. Exercise does give you a damn good high though that makes listening more fun for me.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Well, mine's going back for a re-fit. After wearing them for extended periods of time, I've found that the right earpiece isn't just fitting tight enough.
Hopstretch Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Or you could just deal with a beer in between each slice of pizza. It'll fit perfectly in about two weeks.
drp Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Haj, better send me all your pizza and beer just to be on the safe side.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Speaking of beer, I haven't had one in a while. Unfortunately, I can't remedy that fact as my fridge appears to be devoid of beer.
Salt Peanuts Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Been drinking Scotch, and also been turning in early lately so I hadn't noticed.
drp Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 So not all is lost. We might just need a SW Boston beer get-together.
Edwood Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Well, mine's going back for a re-fit. After wearing them for extended periods of time, I've found that the right earpiece isn't just fitting tight enough. Eat and drink more.
Dreadhead Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 better yet just inject fat into your ear canal
Salt Peanuts Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I love that all of your solutions have been for me to get fatter. I'm bit overweight as is, I don't need to gain more weight.
Dreadhead Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 but... but.. conspicuous consumption and gluttony are good for the world economy Just kidding. Good on you for the self control. I'm on a massive diet right now so I can relate.
Genetic Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 but... but.. conspicuous consumption and gluttony are good for the world economy (...) I'm on a massive diet right now (...) Something sounds not quite right.... Amicalement
Dusty Chalk Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Unfortunately, it won't fix his problem either -- the problem is asymmetry. If they were both loose, then I could see how gaining weight would help, but they're not, and it doesn't.
drp Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Yup; all kidding aside, Haj, sorry they are not a perfect fit. Time to send'm back for a refit.
Salt Peanuts Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 So I sent my pair back in last week for a re-fit as the right earpiece wasn't fitting that well. After asking me my fit issues (over e-mails), they go back to look at my ear impressions and tell me that the right ear impression wasn't done well/correctly, so they need me to get another one done. While it's a pain I need to go get another impression made, I'm more annoyed that JHAudio couldn't tell me that the right ear impression wasn't done well/correctly when they first received them, instead of going ahead and making my IEMs from what they perceive to be an improperly made ear impression.

Damn that fucking sucks. What did they say was wrong with the impression?
Salt Peanuts Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 They said that the right ear impression is "not a full ear impression." Now, why they couldn't figure that out initially, I've no idea.
ojnihs Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 They said that the right ear impression is "not a full ear impression." Now, why they couldn't figure that out initially, I've no idea. Yeah that's weird.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Well, they probably didn't even check until you complained.
manaox2 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Hey Brent, sure you don't want the "JH16"? Since its probably a "has to be asked for type thing", someone needs to check on a JH20.
Genetic Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Being a possible customer from the other side of the border, I'm wondering if all these missing hits are the result of too much business for a little entreprise with not enough people to process the growing demand or these guys are taking their customers for granted... Amicalement
MexicanDragon Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Hey Brent, sure you don't want the "JH16"? Since its probably a "has to be asked for type thing", someone needs to check on a JH20. Don't tell EVERYONE, dude... now people are going to want them. **BRENT**
manaox2 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Don't tell EVERYONE, dude... now people are going to want them. **BRENT** Oops, at least I didn't tell SO what color you plan on getting.
