What grawk said. You place the order and they more or less don't care when your impressions arrive. (My impressions were several weeks behind due to similar sorts of scheduling complications.)

Also you can change your mind about color, artwork etc. up until they have your impressions. Yes, they ask for that at the time of order, but you can shoot them an email later on to make changes.

Yeah, the shipping is outrageous, I got lucky with Black Friday deal including free shipping. I was going to say something about UPS customs fees, but I'll keep quiet so you stay happy. :P

He already knows about it and is trying to come up with which of the heavy ass things we moved into his fourth floor walk-up apartment last weekend he could sell to fund these.

To be fair, they tweeted it too; I just happened to hit FB at the right moment to see it there first.

Now to find an alternative to our local strike two "rock-star" audiologist.
Shauna at Selective Sounds did good impressions for my Westones a couple years ago. San Jose based I believe.

I don't think there is anything I could sell really right now to fund these, gonna have to wait until I start getting paid I think. Fortunately, the deal is over, so I don't have to agonize over it all night.
