This "conversation" reminded me of a time when some friends and I went to a Red Sox game.  We're in the bleacher seats, yapping away with each other and these two guys in front of us.  All of a sudden a stunningly gorgeous redhead, with a near perfect body, comes up the stairs in our direction.

You literally heard a mash of conversation from about 7 people literally come to a complete halt all at the same time, as we all stared and virtually drooled.

After she passed us, we realized that each one of us had completely shut up all at the exact same time.  We started laughing, and I asked, "What's the score.....?"

The guy in front of me, staring longingly and lost into nothing, says, "Two......"

Good times....

I've loved music since I can remember and have fond memories of Dad's stereo systems through the 80s.

In the early 90s as a teen I played around with BPC stereos in my room that itched my scratch for music.

In the late 90s, early '00s I dove head first into car audio and balanced on the line between SQ and SPL.

As a renter I never really got into home audio. I would much rather put money into my car stereo. That all changed when I bought our first house in 2010. I immediately turned into a home audio guy and started collecting records, Sansui amps, turntables and the biggest speakers I could find. There has been so much furniture and stereo gear come and go over the years. This is my "cream of the crop" - Tannoy Arden loaded with Monitor Gold drivers - 2 Sansui BA-3000 power amps running single channel stereo (bridged mono is ridiculous with the Tannoy) - Threshold FET two series II preamp - REL T9i subwoofer with Arrow wireless transmitter - Bluesound Node2i streamer/dac

Klipsch Cornwall IVs.  In the parlance of our times, BRUH.

Those don’t look real.  It’s like someone bought 3/4 scale or 1/2 scale everything else, and regular size speakers.

You really need a subwoofer with those?

And either a supertweeter or a room correction microphone on top.  Although a room correction microphone should probably be in the listening position, so it’s probably a supertweeter.

Correction: I was looking at these speakers and happened to see the reddit thread where Knucks found the picture. The tweeter that looks like it is on top is actually the top of a B&W 802 sitting behind the Unison speaker.

:palm:

Link please?  I used to subscribe to that subreddit, but then I realized it was all just porn and hardly any discussion, and I can get my porn here, so I unsubbed, and now I forget what it was called.

I ask because I'm now wondering if the subs are part of the same system.
