Dusty Chalk Posted August 25, 2019 Report Posted August 25, 2019 I just can’t imagine trying to dial in the relative phases myself, without some special equipment keeping me honest.

skullguise Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 I think I've been to that store! Looks quite familiar behind the "cage." Could be wrong, though.....especially since it was so long ago. I was there in the very earliest days of DAP's, and they were having the debut of the Diamond MP3 player (can't remember if the first model was called RIO or not). The oddest part was that the unit was available in the US before Japan. And, for less money.....one of the lovely ladies showing it was surprised when I converted the US price to Yen and showed her....

mikeymad Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 Not sure about listening to speakers that are 6 feet off the floor - but they seem to work. Rey Audio WARP-5 Kind of like a deconstructed klipschorn, reverse the horn and add lots of woofers (non-barking type) (designed in 1984) 1

jose Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 I like JBL speakers and I like to watch Kenry's videos but honestly I don't see any sense installing speakers of that size in rooms of a small size. 2

Knuckledragger Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 I wonder what is that big silver component in the middle. I don't think it's a piece of audio equipment.
