mikeymad Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 Legacy Whisper XDS I never got to hear them - but with the open design and the symmetry - I always thought they should be good. oh and Carver tube amps for fun. 4 Quote
Knuckledragger Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 (edited) I've wanted a pair of Legacy Focus speakers since I first saw them in an audio magazine in about 1990. Yes, I read audio mags in high school. I was one of the cool kids, let me tell you. Edited May 12, 2019 by Knuckledragger 2 Quote

skullguise Posted May 13, 2019 Report Posted May 13, 2019 My wife is awesome. For our engagement, I bought her the ring, and she bought me a pair of Legacy Classic Kevlar's. The coherence of that speaker to sound almost like a point source was amazing. Long since sold as house/room redesign made these impossible to place...but always loved the Legacy sound (still have a pair of Studio HD's as well). 1 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted May 16, 2019 Report Posted May 16, 2019 I ❤️ Focalszes so much. And are those two JL Audio subwooferses? That's kind of insane. Quote
skullguise Posted May 17, 2019 Report Posted May 17, 2019 The Elacs are such great over-achievers! Used to own the Debut 6's, now have the 6.2's after hearing them at a dealer. Yet another thing I bought but haven't used yet ? Quote
Knuckledragger Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 Would not surprise me if this was a Head Caser. 4 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted May 20, 2019 Report Posted May 20, 2019 That guitar, though, am I right? Isn't it going to resonate at ...like...6 frequencies? 1 Quote
