jp11801 Posted May 27, 2012 Report Posted May 27, 2012 The OMA speakers are some of the best if not the best I have heard. The Imperia with the 22 inch sub is mind blowingly good. The little guys retain the same house sound just on a significantly smaller scale. I would love to have any of these speakers! We should have invaded OMA's DUMBO location on our NYC beer walk. Quote
Grahame Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Plenty of speaker pr0n from the T.H.E. Show 2012, Newport Beach, CA in this thread or flickr set / slideshow Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Unholy carp, look at those bass towers! Quote

Dusty Chalk Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 They look monstrous to those worried about WAF, but to those of us who will have sex with aliens or robots, they're hawt. Also, it's nice to see Simon Pegg doing some side work. Quote
aardvark baguette Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 ^ I want these. I'd probably have to upgrade my electrical and run new lines first. They are hideous though. I think they will look better mounted to stands. hmmm Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 I know they're Sony's, but they're gorgeous. Quote
Tari Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Mmm, SSM9ED's. I always though Avalon took a cue from their design: Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 I don't know what this is, but it's a part of their new ES line of speakers: Quote
spritzer Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Sony can make some very nice equipment when they go all out. That series was awesome in many ways, ditto the R1 and R10's. Quote
luvdunhill Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 I don't know what this is, but it's a part of their new ES line of speakers: Perhaps a rebadged aircirc tweeter? Quote
Nebby Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 Perhaps a rebadged aircirc tweeter? that's what I thought as well: Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Shape Audio's Organic Harmony 18-karat gold floorstanding speaker. This one's valued at a cool $8 million. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 But you gotta admit, it does look porny. In a gilt-overload extravagance kind of way. I'd rather have the one million dollar system from ...oh, I forget whom...EDIT: Oh yeah, the Kharma Grand Enigma. Quote
jpelg Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 Does that actually exist IRL? That pic looks rendered. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 Yeah, I mean who has a desk with only two drawers? Receptionists, that's who. What receptionist has a US$8M speaker in front of them? Also, can you say, 'first reflection nightmare'? Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted August 22, 2013 Report Posted August 22, 2013 This is real -- glass, electrostatic top, dynamic bottom: Pro subwoofers -- they remind me of the old Krell Master Reference subwoofers: Quote
bjarnetv Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 is posting pictures of your own speakers frowned upon in this thread? 2 Quote
Augsburger Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Very nice looking speakers, interesting design. Oh, and cool avatar. Quote
