Knuckledragger Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 Charles Eames chair as made by Herman Miller. I have one, from the 60s, that still has its tags on it. Sadly, there's a small hole in the leather on the ottoman. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted May 18, 2010 Report Posted May 18, 2010 for me that pic is chair porn more than speaker porn, though it's disappointing that the ottoman isn't there....there's a small hole in the leather on the ottoman.Mm-hm. Quote
Craig Sawyers Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Looks to me like a case of more = less Quote
aardvark baguette Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 is it just me or does the floor pattern look just like those cheap fold away tables Quote
mypasswordis Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 Oh my god, I loller'd for a good minute or two. Tweeter eye! Quote
Craig Sawyers Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 The Seraphim -- Spiral TLS I sure wish I still had the photo of a horn speaker buit into a toilet. The guy's wife called them loo-horns. Quote

n_maher Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 I was actually going to suggest seeing if the painter could mask off the front panel and do a two tone scheme. I like the veneer idea even better. Quote
socrates63 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Speaking of the Eames chair and ottoman, I wonder how these Davone Ray speakers would look in the same room with the chair. Linked from Gizmodo's article Davone Ray Speakers Look Like Eames Chairs For Ears. Quote

swt61 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Those look like a weird interpretation of the old PolK SRA-SDS. Quote
faust3d Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 These are old and are a classic British speaker. TDL made very good stuff. Quote

It is indeed a TDL transmission line speaker. They are one of the few companies to tame the somewhat wooly bottom end of a TL speaker. Still around History Quote

Still around History I wanted to buy Monitor M, they can even deliver them, but I can't fit them in with all these speakers around my apartment. I guess I need to sell something and get them, but stuff like this takes time. Quote
nattonrice Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Gilmore audio? It does look over the top hehe. Quote
