They really like the Hitachi Deskstar 5K3000 HDS5C3030ALA630 3TB drive -- way lower failure rates than they're seeing with anything else. For those of you who are truly, truly insane, check out that same blog post. It (combined with an earlier post) tells you how to build your own 4U 135TB RAID6 storage server for around $7K.
