January 31, 200917 yr comment_201726 So apparently there's a little snafu at Google? I was searching for some things this morning and came across this error message: Warning this site may harm your computer. Essentially google is popping this up for every search. You can't click through the links at all for some reason. Anyone know anything about this. Getting news on it it tough, because you CAN'T CLICK THROUGH GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS!?!?!?!?! Report

January 31, 200917 yr comment_201728 I was just searching for "alphaville first harvest" just now and kept getting that same warning. I thought it was kinda weird, but didn't give it much thought, just left it and went to listen to some alphaville. Seems like I'm not the only one who is getting that warning then. Oh, and I think you can get through, just have to click the second link on the warning page? Report
January 31, 200917 yr Author comment_201730 It's all over twitter as well.... very amusing. Apparently someone reported that Google's safe/harmful db server is down and everything has defaulted to harmful. Report
January 31, 200917 yr comment_201737 The yahoo questions/answers pages, forums all over the fucking shop and similar and such are starting to brim over into hobbesian war. It's like that episode of The IT Crowd where they break the little black box that apparently contains the entire internet. Interesting that people sooner launch into confusion, panic and dischord at the non-functionality of Google than use another search engine. Although I should not be surprised if many people don't know that others exist. Report

January 31, 200917 yr comment_201742 Some butler who has a basement full of index cards and newspaper adverts all piled in heaps called Jeeves, if you ask him about something he'll ram his fist into the pile and bring you some yellowed, festering rag of a result. Report

I tried to google for another search engine, but it kept saying they all would harm my computer so I stayed away from them. Report

You called? Heh, having a similar name has always resulted in my friends poking fun at me when the topic of conversation somehow settles on internet search engines... Maybe I should use Jeeves as an avatar... Report
