jp11801 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 I would ask Ryan about that amp as I think that was mine that sold to Ryan and then to this guy. He did some mods/repairs after he got it. I only say this as I do not think there are many/any other etched gold filled tops with the recifier inside examples of this amp Quote
recstar24 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 As far as I know that is not the guy I sold it to, and I do believe he still owns it. JP # I think there was maybe 50 of those made and currently exist out there, a decent number. I want to say there is even a couple of the acid etched black painted chassis version with the rectifier outside like the si2a3. However there are some internal details that make the proto #1 that you and I had even more special than the rest. I would love to just have the chassis and put my current si2a3/45 h in there;D I can honestly say the chassis is probably the most detail oriented beautiful amazing piece of metal I have ever laid my eyes upon.
