Guest pjdowns
I used to run my own Hifi forum up until relatively recently when I chose to dispand it ... so thought I'd look out for alternatives... I have a keen interest in Hifi and all things music so it seemed a natural option when I saw it. Pitty that on another area within the forum a couple of people have been difficult, we'll just have to see how it pans out ! Paul.
grawk
We're definitely different, it's because so many new members come here not to be part of a community but to take from the community without contributing. We find making it hard to get accepted cuts down on that quite a bit.
Guest pjdowns
Fair enough, but that is a real shame .... From what I have seen so far, this forum looks very good. I was all intent on being friendly and avoid confrontation (Which I can assure you from past experience using Hifi forums isn't that easy !!!) .... Maybe I'll just take the past comments as a learning experience .... Paul. For information, the rest of my system comprises of: Naim CDI - CD Player Linn Sondek LP12, SME Series III, Ortofon Logitech Squeezebox III Exposure XVII - Pre Amp Exposure XVIII - Power Amp (Bia-Amped controlling the treble) Exposure XVIII - Power Amp (Biamped controlling the midrange and bass) A combination of Cable Talk and Chord cables
Smeggy
Of course you should. We can be a bunch of fuckers here but it's for good purpose and as long as people aren't being complete knobends we all get along fine. We're not too shy on calling out BS or pointing out when someone is being a prick. Hence the 'sorry about your thin skin' motto.
Guest pjdowns
Hey all, Sorry for causing such a storm on my arrival last week and also thanks for the positive comments.
