ayt999 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 you and your super expensive setup. I'm getting by with this. that balanced transformer thing cost way more than the rest of the rig combined. but they say balanced is the way to go so I suppose it's worth it.
hungrych Posted February 25, 2006 Author Report Posted February 25, 2006 I knew you'd make me jealous, just not with that.
ayt999 Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 who do you think I am? PATB or Hirsch with their expensive SDS-XLR setup?
tiberian Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 everything i have except the tuning pads and nanoliquid. rnb has a serious sour grape issue with my furutech cardas.
Thaddy Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Nice rig tiberian! Now you just need a source, an amp, some cables to hook it all together, and a nice CD to listen to :

PATB Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Here's my favorite (I log more hours on this than the home rig).
Grand Enigma Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 That is a pretty excessivly large and inflexible mini cable there... think you might be better off with some straight plugs that are more low profile.
grawk Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 I recommend black u shaped with straight connectors and dia-mond flex...
hirsch Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Post my rig? My rig's a bit out of control. I'm not sure there's enough film in the digital camera to take all of the pics

Forgot to mention, the amp and the mini cable is just for show ! The sensas don't really sound any better with an amp unless I use a full size CDP. For portable use, I plug the sensas direct off the ipod headphone out.
Iron_Dreamer Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I guess that's what i get for posting before I looked Why'd you have to get me all excited with this new board!
hirsch Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Hey, my main home headphone amp has a dedicated phono input:
hungrych Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Posted March 10, 2006 Yay PFK! Hirsch just take some real pics already, I wanna see.
