grawk Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 I know, we could give a secret shovel to both, with bonus points if it's the same person Quote
The Monkey Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 I know, we could give a secret shovel to both, with bonus points if it's the same person Not bad. Like Secret Santa, but more fun. Well, not for the recipient. Quote
Pars Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Might go to Carmel today, might not. Need to see a bit of coastal cliff action since that'll be new to me. And tomorrow it's back to SF for the official pre-jam party, NorCal edition. Play Pebble... Quote
jp11801 Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 F Might go to Carmel today, might not. Need to see a bit of coastal cliff action since that'll be new to me. And tomorrow it's back to SF for the official pre-jam party, NorCal edition. You should have stopped by The Trappist in Oakland no trip to the Bay Area is complete without a stop there. See you tomorrow at the game hope you guys had a great time here. Quote
guzziguy Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 At $450 a pop? Yeah. You could get a decent bottle of wine for that. Quote
cetoole Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Just landed in Vegas, about an hour before I head on towards SF. Quote

n_maher Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 for those of you going to CamJam, please notice the serial # for those 20 pairs of HF-2s You're not serious are you? I don't think that anyone is going to sit around taking notes as Todd passes them out. Quote
Cankin Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 You're not serious are you? I don't think that anyone is going to sit around taking notes as Todd passes them out. I am serious. For those of us who ordered early and can't be there at CamJam, I'm really interested to know at least an approx. range of serial #. It isn't hard to do so since most of those pairs will be taken by many here, to be honest. Quote
grawk Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 I think the range of serials will be from 1-500, spread out over the months of may-july. Quote
n_maher Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 I will be unable to help as I will be too busy cutting off the stock connectors and reterminating cables. Quote
Edwood Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Nate, you bringing soldering gear, or would you like me to bring my Metcal? Quote
n_maher Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Nate, you bringing soldering gear, or would you like me to bring my Metcal? If you want to bring it that would be great. I'll be using whatever is provided on site. Quote
Edwood Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 OK, I'll bring it if you want. I figured the TSA might not be keen on someone bringing soldering equipment on board. It heats up within 20 seconds, so it doesn't need to be left on for long periods, which will make it more convenient for the meet and less likely that it be left on by mistake. Quote

n_maher Posted May 28, 2009 Report Posted May 28, 2009 Wuhoo! There's a better than slight chance I'll be swinging by the hotel ~1pm on Friday, anyone going to be around? If so look for the tall, pasty white guy sucking down drinks in the bar. Quote
