faust3d Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Jethro Tull - Aqualung (1971) 1984 VK 41044 CD issue on Crysalis, sounds very nice.
faust3d Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Caravan - In the land of grey and pink I love the smooth relaxed style of this album. "Nine Feet Underground" is amazing, one of the best things Caravan ever recorded.

clarke68 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Now playing: John Zorn's Masada String Trio -- 50th Birthday Celebration, Vol. 1Freakin' love that album. I just picked up Azazel the other month: ...but I'm not listening to it right now so, y'know, sorry for the OT post and stuff. Also just wanted to brag that I'm seeing them tomorrow night. I am such a tool.
Voltron Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Yeah, Clarke, I am having a hard time figuring out what to see and what not to miss. The String Trio is so much better than I expected after a few listens of the last weeks that I may be joining you late night tomorrow. Right now, Sunday's offering is on tap: John Zorn -- Electric Masada: 50th Birthday Celebration Vol. 4
Hopstretch Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Pixies -- Doolittle Hey AB, I'd sure love to hear the MFSL version.
clarke68 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 I am having a hard time figuring out what to see and what not to miss. LOL...I hear 'ya! I'm here right now: Masada - Live in Sevilla 2000 Check this one out and you'll want to catch Thursday night as well. About the only night I'm not completely thrilled about is Saturday, although I bet the Dreamers would be better live than the album was.
