jvlgato Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Joshua Redman - Compass I heard him interviewed on NPR once and emailed him a question about it. He actually wrote back a pretty thoughtful response, pretty cool! Smart guy, blew off med school to pursue his jazz career.
jvlgato Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 that's what i've heard. his shit is great, but that's what one would expect from Dewey Redman's son. compass is one of my 10 favorite albums of the first decade of the 21st century. Would you mind bringing that to ChiLiquiFi? I'd love to hear it!
Voltron Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Joshua's new band James Farm is going to release its first album in the spring and I am going to predict it will be a favorite of the second decade of the century. I am counting the days and stalking when they will perform againnanywhere i might get to.
