boomana Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman - John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman one of my favorite albums. Same here, though it's also one of those albums I keep forgetting I have it. Same here. Thanks for reminding me. I'm listening now.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Not here, but I bought that album based on the strength of the recommendations on this board quite a while ago, I should go listen to it now.
GPH Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Collage - Moonshine Awesome album for fans of Genesis, Marillion, IQ, etc.
GPH Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Clepsydra - Fears It really deserves a price for the fugly cover art, but it's a great neo-prog album nonetheless, in the same vein as the Collage album above.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Sweet, thanks for the recs, insta-wishlisted. Me: Crematory, Infinity -- yes, Crematory -- you don't get a better metal name than that. And it's just what it sounds like. Mix of clean and ...er...whatever the opposite of clean is, dirty?...singing, but both male, so not "beauty and the beast". And yes, it might be the same singer, don't know, don't care. Fucking rocks, that's all I care about.
