mypasswordis Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 in process. What's this dropbox you speak of and can I get some of dat Kodaly as well?
Voltron Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Christian McBride -- Live at Tonic Fucking amazing record(s). Get it if you don't got it.
Torpedo Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 ^ indeed, I like it very much, specially CD 1 and 2.
Voltron Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 ^ indeed, I like it very much, specially CD 1 and 2. They are the more straight-ahead discs, of course, but I am jammin' to disc 3 at 30,000 feet right now. Funky. Funky. Funk.
Voltron Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Now Playing: Snakefarm -- Songs From My Funeral
en480c4 Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Goldfrapp - Head First Decidedly "meh" about this after a few listens. Loved everything to date... the weird Felt Mountain, the glammy Black Cherry, the even more glammy Supernature and the folky Seventh Tree. But the strong 80's vibe is leaving me a little cold so far.
swt61 Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 Love him or hate him (I happen to love him), he really does have a voice that lends itself to many genres. There are a few real standouts here...'You Make Me Feel Brand New' with Mary J. Blige, 'Tracks Of My Tears' with Smokey and 'Let It Be Me' with Jennifer Hudson.

This new album isn't bad, but I like Seventh Tree the most. Seventh Tree > Head First > everything else Now: Peter Gabriel - So
