Dusty Chalk
I would just like to mention that I finally got around to listening to that Bear in Heaven disk yesterday, and goddamn is it good. Lush/4ad/M83/Siouxsie/other stuff mixed together until it stops sticking to your fingers, then spread on toast.

TomB
Dirty Projectors -- Bitte Orca Great CD! Some of their previous CD's have some really disgusting looking artwork, but this one's a keeper on both counts.

Yeah, they haven't really moved that far since 2004, have they? Another vote for Bitte Orca as a great album. Bought the vinyl and it's a nice pressing too. Dusty Chalk
Puscifer, "C" is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference HERE) -- the first two tracks, in particular -- "Polar Bear" and "The Mission (M is for Milla Mix)" -- rawk. This video is kind of trippy: This one is not: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tU-hSpErIw Edited December 15, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
Dusty Chalk
Just finished sampling Valerie & Friends -- retro synthpop and electro goodness. Starting Morphine, At Your Service -- was listening to this earlier, need to go back to it. If you like sax and other reed instruments (baritone something on there, too), highly recommended. robm321
Christopher Parkening / Elmer Bernstein - Concerto for Guitar Redbook I had no idea this existed before yesterday. A surprisingly good concerto for guitar. Parkening has been at my top spot since Segovia passed, so it's all win if you're into this kind of thing.
