Aimless1 Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 The DVD-A of Red 40th Anniversary edition. Red and Starless in 5.1 are incredibly good. Lots more to discover. At the moment: Take Love Easy x Sophie Milman
Dusty Chalk Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Quite possibly my fav Stranglers album. I can never quite put my finger on why I like this band so much, but I love everything from Rattus to Feline...I'm weird, because I came in on Dreamtime and Aural Sculpture, so those two are my favorites (with Dreamtime taking the slight lead). "Too Precious" is easily my favorite track by them. I love that ensemble break. Oh, and yay on ELO and Talk Talk.

faust3d Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Harmonia - Musik Von Harmonia Japanese Polydor K.K. CD with OBI and Japanese insert. Got it for $10 online. As far as I am concerned this is the best sounding version on CD, although I never heard original long OOP 1992 Brain CD, but it should have the same original tapes transfer as Polydor K.K.
feckn_eejit Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Just got a pile of Todd Rundgren in this morning... shouldn't be starting with this but I am: Todd Rundgren - Faithful (1976)
feckn_eejit Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 Er...... wow, side two of this is fucking epic! I really should have started somewhere else in this pile, the rest can't possibly be as good.... Side one very interesting as I'm generally not a covers fan (notable exception - Adrian Belew's take on The Wilburys' "Not Alone Anymore" appearing on his 1990 effort _Young Lions_; blows the original out of the fucking water!) but these are quite "faithful" and interesting to listen to.
