Aimless1 Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 I thought about downloading that this morning. The teaser clips sounded quite good. How do you like it? Currently listening to Long Journey Home x Cowboy Junkies

jinp6301 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Aimee Mann -- Bachelor No. 2 MFSL vinyl. Pavement -- Slanted And Enchanted Vinyl. Man, you have two of my all time fav albums on vinyl Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion I know it hasnt been that long, but this really holds up
blessingx Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Any Pavement reference is a good thing. A few tracks off ... ... and now ...
Dusty Chalk Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 The XX -- really dig this minimal, retro (Joy Division/early New Order/Church/Chameleons-y) brit-pop-ish whatever-it-is. I really like the production -- it almost is the opposite of the current "louder is better" approach to radio airplay.
Hopstretch Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Split Enz -- Time And Tide Vinyl. Found this today for 50c at a thrift shop. Bit more warped on the table than it looked in the store, but sounds OK.
Hopstretch Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Kate Bush -- The Dreaming More serendipitous used vinyl.
Hopstretch Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Lloyd Cole and the Commotions -- Rattlesnakes 1984 US first pressing. Did a little jig when I found this one.
