Dusty Chalk
The copy I managed to find isn't bad. It's great, quite possibly working on being my second favorite PT release ever (the first being Stupid Dream). Nice mix of electronica in with the hard stuff, and interesting dynamics. Dusty Chalk
Josephs Legende, SACDI want to listen so bad, but it's just a streaming webrip in various transcodes.Hmmm...there's a part of me that believes the copy I found (which, admittedly, was the first one I found) is better than a streaming webrip, but I have to admit, I was only listening in the car, which is a particularly noisy environment of late, so...who knows? The links I used have been taken down already. And for the record, I'm buying it the day it comes out, yes. Duggeh
Something/Anything is superb, but it's the part of me that has the love for Mike Oldfield that finds the greater experience in Wizard. It really does, like any initially cacophonic amagamative piece of prog music, take some listening before *click* it all falls into place. The ultimate album for that, and possibly the #1 in my top ten is Oldfields Amarok.
GPH
Porcupine Tree - The Incident So far, I like the album more than FOABP, probably as much as Deadwing and far less than In Absentia, Stupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun. Still, it's good quality music as always and I'll definitely buy it when it comes out. I dig the electronica effects throughout the album, it's been a while since PT used those. Dusty Chalk
Okay, it appears to be Can, Rite Time. I plan on getting the entire Can catalog on SACD (and I may even already have that one), so I'm returning it.
