deepak Posted July 23, 2009 Author Report Posted July 23, 2009 Ohh I haven't listened to Boris in a while
faust3d Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Ergo Sum - Mexico (1971) I was expecting this band to be influenced by other French prog bands of that time, but they are nothing like their contemporaries. Bluesy, folky and jazzy prog with clear British psych influences. Not a trace of Zeuhl influence, in my opinion, anywhere on this album. Vocals I guess are an acquired taste, but if you don't mind them there is a lot to like here.

feckn_eejit Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 DCC. Man I should have started listening to ELO earlier.....don't see any picture which album? ELO has some pretty great stuff!
feckn_eejit Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 gah, it was Eldorado DCCSweet! Not my favourite (Out of the Blue is!) but not bad. I find most of their albums a bit spotty really, while 80%+ of OOTB is great.

Hopstretch Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 The Waterboys -- Fisherman's Blues As reissues go, this one is well worth it. The previously-unreleased material just about adds up to another damn fine album all on its own.

Dusty Chalk Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack, complete versionThis is so great, that I just went back and started it over. With different headphones. I'm hearing things I've never heard before (which means it's either a better transfer, or they compressed it a little). I really would love to hear this and Glassworks on SACD.
