aardvark baguette Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Regression in cover art quality from last time, but at least now we have another horse album
Dusty Chalk Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 Just buy Lacrimosa albums. For cute Goth cover examples Goth and metal, the best of both worlds.

grawk Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 nothign wrong with schoeps, that's what I used to use. But those are way back in the section. Look for mk21 or mk22s fob
guzziguy Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Duke Ellington Is this one of your Eastwind purchases, Vicki?
Dusty Chalk Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 nothign wrong with schoeps...Yeah, I know, I was being sarcastic. Schoeps is top echelon.
Wmcmanus Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 JJ Cale's new album, "Roll On" - much as you would expect if you're a fan. He never changes all that much, which I think is a good thing. This one is much better produced than a lot of his early stuff (think 70s). He just keeps rolling on. No doubt about that.
909 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 the white album (thanks jacob) justin's blue hawaii, blubliss' omega one and my reimyo
jimmyjames8 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 inspired to give this a listen again from CanJam thread...all Lee Morgan sides are worth owning
aardvark baguette Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 This has got to be one of the better jazz albums I've come across.

Hopstretch Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 The Jimi Hendrix Experience -- Electric Ladyland Prime HF-2 material. "Voodoo Chile" is quite a trip at slightly elevated volume.
boomana Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 with HD800s Reksy, did you ever listen to this?
boomana Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Is this one of your Eastwind purchases, Vicki? Nope, I haven't even opened those yet (two Art Blakeys, my man Stan, and Duke's Big Four xrcd), but I'm about to. Really impressed by the HD800s and so far I haven't gotten out of bed (was up 'til 6....eeek), so am listening only with the pico and lossless on the 'puter. One more cup of coffee and I'm going to wander over to my main rig.
boomana Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 So this sounds so good with the pico and HD800s, I really need to move to my main rig and see how these 'phones really sound.
