Voltron Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 what do you think? I like it. I think I will like it a lot as I have more time to listen.
aardvark baguette Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 where did you get that? who cares. The correct question is, "where can I get that?", and that should be obvious.
Voltron Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Steven Wilson - Insurgentes Checking this one out.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Album of the year for me, so far. Top 3 at least.
Knuckledragger Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I've had "Drive/Driven" stuck in my head for days.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I believe Yello are in my top 20 favorite artists of all time.
Hopstretch Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Boris Blank is just a high-quality name, too. Up there with Max Power and my old friend, Commander Flex Plexico.
jimmyjames8 Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 One of the coolest album covers of all time. A musician friend of mine tried to turn me on to monk 25 years ago. At that time I didn't get it. Now I have them all. The Columbia reissues sound great. The wild thing about Monk is he recorded a bunch of his hits for Blue Note back in the late 40's and very few listeners got it. He kept playing and recording the same tunes for 20-30 years till folks got it. Now everyone in jazz plays Monk.
deepak Posted May 16, 2009 Author Report Posted May 16, 2009 Hehe yeah this is a good one, great expression on Monk's face too. Original Columbia/Sony pressing
Asr Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 The Crystal Method - Divided By Night I'm about halfway through the CD listening for the 1st time and I'm vastly unimpressed - seriously depressed, actually. This is the first TCM album I really don't like. Not sure most TCM fans will like this CD, it's a pretty far step from their previous work. Lots of vocals, not enough breaks and sampling. I also hate the digipak case!!!

Knuckledragger Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 The new project by The Knife, finally in my hands. So far I love it. In related news, water found to be wet, prone to rolling downhill.
