postjack Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 I think Sounds has some great moments in it, but some sleeper tracks as well. it's like a mixture of Exciter/Ultra and the pre-Black Celebration post-Clarke output. I definitely like the analog synths, and at least to my ears it sounds like it's not brickwall mastering. warm and open.

aardvark baguette Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Was feeling rather homicidal at work today. Put on one of the living stereos, and now this one. Now those folks at work will never know how close they came!
MoonShine Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 ^^^ One of my favorites. Excellent music, excellent recording. Most tracks are better than the studio versions, IMO.
aardvark baguette Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 Stretch also. DB, AB. mmkay. I won't be home till late Sunday/Monday though.
hungrych Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 Rotary Connection - Songs Super awesome psychedelic soul fronted by Minnie Ripperton. Mostly covers, including the craziest version of "Respect" ever.
