Torpedo
Absolutely love Melody Gardot. Emerging talent, I wish she releases a new album soon. Now listening to Doobie Brothers - World Gone Crazy Surprisingly good. At times they seem Santana, others themselves. Enjoying quite a bit. Torpedo
The Baseballs - Strike It's been a lot of years since I listened to this sort of rockabillie-ska-classic rock mix for the last time. Kinda fun. The Umbrella cover is cool.
Dusty Chalk
End of Green, High Hopes in Low Places -- totally dig. Rock. (Doubled?) Male vocals. Goth-ish without being full-on goth. Certainly has a certain Sisters of Mercy-ness to them. (And if not SoM, then it's someone else that I'm not putting my finger on, but it's someone I dig a lot.) EDIT: I think maybe black-album-era Metallica. Maybe Type O Negative. I don't know. Edited November 10, 2010 by Dusty Chalk

Dusty Chalk
Deep in Thought, Dreamscapes -- this is instrumental post-rock of the Tortoise/Timeout Drawer variety, with some very heavy moments, epic guitar tones, and very catchy hooks. I can tell right now that this is going to become an addiction, just like Nowonmai did. Edited November 11, 2010 by Dusty Chalk

Dusty Chalk
What?!?!? The first one was epitomical contemporary prog; the second was weird by alternating synthpop tracks, and this one sort of melded the two. I mean, they still have that sound (I think mostly because of the multiple lead vocals), but they're all different.
jinp6301
I might have spoken prematurely. One of the songs (black mourning?) just really evoked the sound first album to me, but the rest of the album doesnt (so far, on track
