Dusty Chalk Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Oceansize, Feed to Feed -- fucking rocking my world. British (Manchester, to be specific), epic, somewhat proggy, but more space rock/post-alternative/post-rock, somewhat Britpoppy, lots of atmospherics, lots of rocking the big chords, totally dig.

jinp6301 Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Margot & the Nuclear So and So's - The Dust of Retreat I used to listen to this all the time. thanks for the reminder!
aardvark baguette Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 ^^ Today was my first exposure to it, but its very nice. I've already listened to some of it several times. Now: Tobacco - Fucked Up Friends
jinp6301 Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 I like animal/not animal a bit more but thats just me
aardvark baguette Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 I haven't listened all the way through on that one yet, myself. (also acquired today)
jinp6301 Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Tomofumi Tanizawa - Kimi ni Todoke OP Single damn songs been stuck in my head for this whole week
postjack Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Mastodon - Leviathan i've really grown to love Mastodon. it took quite a lot of listening and seeing them live, but I love 'em. Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears - Tell 'Em What Your Name Is (vinyl) really powerful old school smooth James Brown-esque r&b funk. saw them open for Robert Randolph last year.
mypasswordis Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Thanks for the reminder, I need to check me out some Mastodon.
