skullguise Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 My favorite band, and a nice respite from the insanity....
faust3d Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 You - [00:19:96:00] ELECTRIC IMAGES REVISITED (1996) Last album from this Berlin School Electronic band. Not bad at all for 90's electronic album. The good thing is that they did not fall into a trap of changing the sound to be "modern" and still sound very much like they did before only now using a lot of new recording and production technology. Good stuff.
faust3d Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 More You albums. I guess I will make it a YOU day You - Wonders From the Genetic Factory (1984)
mypasswordis Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Wow, my brain just clicked and I like some metal now, starting with Meshuggah and now this. Some of Dream Theater is okay, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xEYz74bMHA
guzziguy Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Wow, my brain just clicked and I like some metal now, ... That was probably just an artery popping.
mypasswordis Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 Could be it, yeah. I go through a lot of phases so I could end up not liking it again, but I usually like most stuff given enough time for exposure.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 You ought also like Opeth. Try Blackwater Park. But you are starting with the cream of the crop -- Gojira is a recent fave, and my friend Dave (the one you met) likes Meshuggah a lot, and tends to reject mediocrity.

Cool, I think I heard a couple of their songs awhile back and didn't really connect, but as you can see my tastes change. Meanwhile, David Bowie - Let's Dance (Vinyl) Not with Iggy, no BJs.
