I will be DL'ing that Kinks album tonight.

Just did. It sounds really good. Better than the 2004 DSD remaster. Great album!

PS: I've been in that pub. It's still a fucking dump.

I guess "Hi-Fi" meant crappy recording back then, but musically an outstanding recording loaded with some of the best of all time talent, not limited to the drummers.

Nice! I have 3 or 4 of the Kinks on HDTracks 24/96 and they all sound pretty great. DL'ing was much smoother this last time than my previous HDT purchases. Not sure if my end or theirs, but I was happy.

Shit, I remember making out with my high school girlfriend to this album. Brings back a rush of memories as well as other ... redistributions of certain essential fluids.
