Duggeh Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Is there any album in the universe which has such a giant gulf between how good it is to listen to and how shit its cover art is?

deepak Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 Is there any album in the universe which has such a giant gulf between how good it is to listen to and how shit its cover art is? Pet Sounds or QE2?
Dusty Chalk Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Is there any album in the universe which has such a giant gulf between how good it is to listen to and how shit its cover art is?I have two versions of QE2 on vinyl when the record came out, and the only difference between the two is the cover art. The merkin version is glossy, but without the porthole cutout, the British version (which, to my mind, is superior), is matte and has the cutout. So I'd have to say yes.
bperboy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Is there any album in the universe which has such a giant gulf between how good it is to listen to and how shit its cover art is? I remember going through my parents' CD collection as a kid in middle school and thinking, "What the hell, I don't want to listen to some kids' cd." How wrong I was.
