Sherwood Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 I did, but it may be an out-of-date .pdf of his stock. I'll get his new one to double check. I found the 47uf on partsconnexion
luvdunhill Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Also, the only non polar 10uf 50v cap I could find was the AC series, not the N series. The description of the AC series was high current for x-overs -- would that be detrimental in my application? If you post images of the PCB, I'll show you where they are. There are a few other caps worth upgrading as well, but I need to see pics to jog my memory
xand1x Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Hmm I apologize for not lookin at this thread earlier. Is this what you are looking for? If so I have a pair lying around that you can have for pretty much the cost of shipping.
recstar24 Posted November 24, 2008 Author Report Posted November 24, 2008 Thanks xand, but I opted not to go with the adaptors, going for a true balanced active preamp. I appreciate it!

JBLoudG20 Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 He is Or charge it on an African American Express
Sherwood Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Got the GFP-750 in but it was all effed up. The balance on the volume pot never equalled out, and even all the way down at 7 o'clock I got about 75% volume out of the right channel (and 0% out of the left). Only way it worked was to max it out and then attenuate volume on the source, which is hardly worthwhile for a preamp. The seller wants to refund me $200 to have it fixed, but I'm pretty certain the Alps pot in there is out of production, so I'm sending it back and looking elsewhere.
