Luminette Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Remember, remember, the Fifth of November The Gunpowder Treason and plot I know of no reason Why the Gunpowder Treason Should ever be forgot If you don't own a copy, go out and buy it, or rent it. Acquire it somehow. You have the means (I'm talking about V for Vendetta) Quote
n_maher Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 mediocre movie, reasonable comic. Eh, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, no interest in reading the graphic novel. Quote
mirumu Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I liked both, but of the two I'd say the graphic novel was better mainly because the film waters down the political side of the story too much. Quote
Fungi Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 All right movie, need to read the comic some time. Quote
foo_me Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 happy owner here...one of my favorites! an action movie that tries and succeeds to be more Quote
blessingx Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Movie was way too stylistic and clean. For the subject it should have been a little dirty, no? You know, explosions and torture may leave marks? Give a little physicality. May even help the acting. As I've said before, stay a comic/graphic novel or become a movie. Don't fail at both. Quote
jp11801 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I enjoyed it I don't have really high expectations of most movies other than to entertain Quote
