tyrion
maybe it was bought by another manufacturer like the last one for sale Why not, it's an excellent amp. I am sure it was just a form of flattery on that manufacturers part.

kevin gilmore
And a certain person just stopped by my office and begged me for a BH, BHSE, aristaeus, and a SACD standard for the weekend show. I was specifically not invited as it would upset ray. He really thought i was going to give him that pile of stuff on his "good name" alone. Ray already owns an aristaeus anyway, and if he wants a BHSE, he can buy one just like everyone else.

Holy hell, nothing like asking to borrow north of $10k of equipment for the express purpose of having it have no representation at the meet (an individual owner) so it can be compared to the competition (which one assumes will have the benefit of having the company's owner present). That's a big set of balls someone has. BEEEELEEEEEE
Pars
The other amp will not be at the meet, but everyone that wants to is invited over afterwards. Me, I'm going home... if I go at all. What happened to the normal shitstorm when someone is "excluded" from a HF meet? Such as a certain reks had happen a few years ago? Oh yeah, you would have to whine, etc. too get that going... I'm gonna be going right back home as well, have to be back in Peoria on Sunday. You should still come Pars, I'd be glad to see you there. Exclusion is, for lack of a better word, bullshit. Everyone should be welcome no matter the circumstances.

n_maher
Am I seeing things correctly that fewer than 20 members have signed up for the meet or is the list simply out of date?

guzziguy
<snip> What happened to the normal shitstorm when someone is "excluded" from a HF meet? Such as a certain reks had happen a few years ago? Oh yeah, you would have to whine, etc. too get that going... Maybe something was learned from that incident. Somebody was very deservedly excluded from CanJam. Nobody thought that person should have been allowed to come. There was definitely no shit storm. The people running this meet decided that since it was impossible to have both, they'd rather have Ray than Kevin. I have no problem with that. What I find to be galling and show a total lack of class is to then ask to borrow Kevin's equipment. What chutzpah! It is hypocritical of Ray to have whined about being excluded in Cincinnati and then now insist that Kevin be excluded or he won't show up. morphsci
@Nate: AFAIK Billy was being Billy and so information was totally lacking. If not for Ryan, I think the list would be even smaller. Pretty much a huge disappointment for me. @Aura: The reason I'm not going is I have to fly out to a meeting on Sunday and my presentation is not done started yet @me:

That way people have a choice as to what they would like to hear. You also wouldn't have any trouble getting people to show up with their gear too. Aura
FIFY Didn't -=she=- have more people at her house?!!? No, we had maybe 14-15 people during the high point of that meet. This all is very disappointing considering my previous enthusiasm for the meet in the past few months.
