in comparision to the transporter the CEC dac resolved ambient information well - noticeably better than the transporter. i can certainly understand why some people wasn't impressed by the transporter - some of the essence just wasn't there.

I don't think you're really doing much of a test if you're using the XLR outs on the dac to test. I mean, it's great if it works, but it's just dumb luck when it does.

Nice meter, whatever it's for... and the rainbow cables have to be a big contributor to the essence. Props to the number of caps they stuffed in there.
