Wmcmanus Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 The unit was returned with the same serial no... We have Mikhail to thank for learning this defense mechanism.
agile_one Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 Too cool for school., Al. Just superb looking. I like the custom input label. Nice job rearranging the racks and gear - looks great in the room.
Voltron Posted July 31, 2010 Author Report Posted July 31, 2010 Thanks all. The current setup (especially the Mac/Amarra) is not final and must be shifted. Need to figure out arrangement but happy to have it going for now. Anybody have thoughts on the idea of leaving the rig playing all week while on vacation? Somebody will be at the house every other day. Dangerous? I'll-advised?
luvdunhill Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Just listen and enjoy it. If you don't like it then wait the stated number of hours and then ask that it be returned and given a once-over because the burn-in is broken too.
The Monkey Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Al, your rig is full of win. Looks great! How many aluminium trees do you think they had to cut down to make the Ayre?
swt61 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Fear not, the cases are made of recycled aluminum, so they're Green friendly. They make them from old discarded cock rings they find on the floors of the sex clubs on Folsom St.
Hopstretch Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 So, so wicked. We yearnsssss, doesn't we Smeagol?
Voltron Posted August 3, 2010 Author Report Posted August 3, 2010 That's a fuckload of cock rings. I miss Stretch. Make him play more in our sandbox! I want Smeagol and Gollum to come for a listen at MOA II. It will only be a 22 hour flight!
Grahame Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 That's a fuckload of cock rings. And Al wins tonights name that collective noun!
Voltron Posted August 18, 2010 Author Report Posted August 18, 2010 Just listened to vinyl through the KX-R for the first time and it is sweet. The Doshi was seemingly acting up in one channel before and now it is fine sounding and no problems. That too has me quite happy.
