Looks nice, although I'm not familiar with (as in never heard of) Wilton. A bit bigger than mine (10" Delta); could come in useful if you decide to build yourself a turntable, etc.

My only thoughts are that it would be nice to have a worklight on the table. My Delta has one and it's immensely helpful. Oh wait, I just caught that it isn't variable speed. That would be a deal breaker for me.

I've got a Delta DP-350.

I have a few projects in the queue that will need a fair bit of capacity so I need to be able to accomodate at least 5" stock. I am thinking of building a new plinth for my Dual turntable, but that is so far back that it's not even in the queue to get into the queue :o

I have several clip-on work lights that I use across the shop where necessary so a built-in work-light while nice is not a necessity.

Yeah but you don't care for stepped attenuators either :P. I don't see the twelve discrete speeds as being a significant detriment. The variable speed models are significantly more expensive.

I didn't see that it was variable at all, 12 steps is probably ok as long as you can change it on the fly and don't have to pop a cover and swap belts or some such nonsense.
