ingwe Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Please post a picture of your SR71a completely immersed in water. Does it refract light differently than the Predator? Quote
kevin gilmore Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 you are going to have beelly to recreate the sr71 hot tub incident Quote
Grahame Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Is this sort of like what you wanted? How about after you take it out, and its cold. Quote

ingwe Posted September 26, 2008 Author Report Posted September 26, 2008 I'll post a pic when mine arrives. I'm going to use it with my new Pico DAC. Oh cool! You have a salt-water tank. Try immersing it in that. Quote
Frihed89 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 I was a CIC watch officer on a ship in the Tonkin Gulf in 1970 that was steaming meaningless around this buoy that was like 15 miles off the coast, when all of a sudden a radarman reported he had a contact coming out of China headed for us doing over mach 2 at something insane like 80,000 feet! I Reported the information to the OOD and ran over to a radar console and watched this "thing" make a big right turn about 500 miles in diameter and head East. It took about a minute. By the time the CO made to CIC, it was gone. Guess who? Quote
n_maher Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 I believe that Frihed was responding to yet another old thread and relaying a story about an alleged SR71 sighting while he was in the service. Quote
wrecked_porsche Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Guess who? Well obviously it was Ray. Quote
