Duggeh Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I'd like to be able to eat horse, had it abroad. Britain seems less keen on horse sausage.

guzziguy Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Veal. Love the taste, but can't abide how the animals are treated to make it veal. I decided several years ago to strike veal from my diet and won't voluntarily eat it. About the only case where I would knowingly eat it (besides starvation) is to avoid offending somebody.

Come to CanJam 2009, we will whip up a batch for you one way or another, or at least attempt a So Cal version of Haggis. I know a place in Boyle Heights called El Tepiac that serves something like that.

GPH Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I'd really like a good crab sandwich right now. When I was younger, I used to go on vacation every summer on the U.S. east coast and there were always small restaurants near the sea making delicious and fresh crab sandwiches. Here, you don't find that.
GPH Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 we have lots of them here I'll trade one for a poutine. FedEx Overnight.
