justin Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 because of you, my lunch is cold and i have to deal with this crap On a funny note, the car that hit me was a Dodge Durango SLT and it had to get towed because it was leaking fluids and wouldn't start haha
Hopstretch Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Oh, that sucks! You OK? My wife has been rear-ended (yeah, yeah) twice this year already -- both times she was stopped at a red light and both times the other driver was a young woman talking on a cell phone. So I feel your pain.
Knuckledragger Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 That sucks, dude. SUVs FTL.

grawk Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 if you'd been driving a man's truck, you woulda been fine
deepak Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I have had a resident tell me she puts her makeup on in the car because rounds are very early. That is on the highway, since our hospital is right off the exit. I know you're joking, but not entirely fair to blame women. I have a friend that has $200+ a month cell phone bills that has been in probably three or four accidents in the last few years (male).

Hopstretch Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 NEWS - Women Drivers Crash More Than Men And when we do, it's still their fault.
John E Woven Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I agree completely. My sister totaled my old car. Talking on her phone, drove it into the back of a pick up.
Smeggy Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I totally agree too. Many women are easily distracted with stupid shit or doing stupid shit when driving. Am I bitter? You bet. Do I have good reason to be? You bet!
aardvark baguette Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 As someone guilty of grabbing CDs from the backseat to play on the stereo with a free arm while driving 75MPH on 95, I will refrain from any criticism
Knuckledragger Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I drive a stick shift, and don't have an earpiece for my cell. When it rings when I'm driving, I ignore it. I am guilty of futzing with the iPod while driving. That can be pretty dangerous, particularly at night.
aardvark baguette Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I like to be unavailable while driving, so no cell whatsoever for me.
909 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Justin, sorry to hear you got rear ended. hope you and the other driver are both alright as that's the most important thing. Are men better drivers than women?
Grahame Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 In other news, this just in () from the No Shit, Sherlock Foundation. Distracted drivers pose safety hazard, according to new UNC study 80% of Car Crashes are from Driver Distractions - Mobiledia Which worryingly means that 20% of Car Crashes are from un-distracted drivers. 909 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 yeah, driving distracted is dangerous stuff and causes a lot of accidents and as Johnny Carson would say, i did not know that.
justin Posted September 18, 2008 Author Report Posted September 18, 2008 this takes the record for worst woman driver ever (old clip)
909 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 that's some funny shit, hope she didn't get hurt.
Grahame Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 2006 Women Drivers Award, in reverse order. from The 2006 Women Drivers Award
909 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 i like number 8 cause it's the only one i'd like to see how it exactly happened.
Jeepster Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I was talking about the first number 9!
Jeepster Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I know what you mean, I kinda think its the funniest one. How can you say you were too distracted to put your helmet on the right way!
