BTW, you've have the Phillips APL a while now. When do we get to read about an eXemplar Denon 2900 vs. Phillips APL review? I'm waiting for it with bated breath.

Uh...I have yet to set it up :-\

I am currently in UE11-land. Since I'm sending them back for adjustments, I've been listening to them almost exclusively so as to be able to tell them what needs doing. Sadly, I have no idea how to express what I'm feeling and what needs to be done :(

That's right! As an engineering student, I am now able to say that I'm an engineer. I feel more qualified than ever to note what's wrong: It must be the alleviation of perceived issues with the presentation of warm neutrals in the air and staging of classic details and extension that needs to be worked on while leaving alone the smooth and open, lively, yet punchy sound with sparking highs that does no wrong! Damn, this engineering is good stuff. Why didn't anyone tell me about it before?

There is one requirement. You have to learn how to solder, no matter how crappy.

We've already seen her engineer some sick burns. Now, add solder and congrats, receive professional engineer degree.

I can solder, I know some basic electricity and physics... may I become an engineer too? I want to start my own company too.

We can go into business together! Though Topedo and Boom Industries might need a name change.

I like having my own company, but I don't want to be a MOT. I like much better being able to shill for my products and getting more customers using my hidden agenda. Way more lucrative.

OK then, you're the MOT, I'm the shill, both engineers, so we can publish our own scientific studies about the excellence of our products... In a couple of months we might buy this whole site.

STEALTH Co. Nice one!

That's it!

ooohhh.....I have a white lab coat, too (won't say why) and I can look the part of a professional engineer in something lab-like. Aren't you a doc? That should more than impress when slapping your name and credentials on "scientific" studies.

This is *important*: When you make your first infomercial, use the lab coat, but make sure at some point you peer intently into a microscope, then slowly look up--with enigmatic grin, nodding slightly. Then turn slowly to the camera and say, "Good Stuff!"

Sure, I have several white coats, even a nice badge with my pic. Really serious stuff. I could wear one of these on my front:

Not really much engineering stuff, but impressive nevertheless.
