boomana Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Well, if I'd played Chad Henne, I would have had almost twice the points I got with Peyton Manning, and Henne wasn't even in the game for more than a few minutes. I have no idea what Manning was doing (apparently not much) since I didn't see the game, but seven points? Egad. Unless Welker scores a couple times this game, Dinny's going to win. Had Manning done even half as well as he'd been doing, I'm pretty sure I would have won this one. Quote
shellylh Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I didn't see the game but 7 points is way off for Peyton Manning! Quote
n_maher Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I benched Tom Brady this week since he was playing the Steelers. He promptly passed for 350, 3TDs and rushed for 4th. My luck continues... Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I benched Tom Brady this week since he was playing the Steelers. He promptly passed for 350, 3TDs and rushed for 4th. My luck continues... I benched Green-Ellis for similar reason and he responds with 123 total yards. Also, the Pats D/ST I dropped on Sunday proceeded to score 12 points. The silver lining (of sort) is that even had I started those two, I still wouldn't have won this week. Quote
VPI Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 This is shaping up to be a very interesting end to the regular season. There are several teams competing for the top four spots for the playoffs and all are separated by at most two games. This is going to be fun. By the way, the trade deadline looms in a couple of weeks so get those trade requests in now. Quote
deepak Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 And I get the pleasure of playing the number 1 team twice Quote
boomana Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 How the heck did DeSean Jackson get 16 points in the first two minutes of play? That's the end of me right there. Quote
MexicanDragon Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 How the heck did the Eagles' defense get 17 points in the first few minutes of play? Oh... I have those guys? Nice. I also love that my kicker has 4x the points of my entire bench this week. So glad I started playing FF. **BRENT** Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Keep in mind D/ST starts out with 15 points (10 for no points allowed and 5 points for less than 100 yards allowed). Quote
VPI Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Yeah I am playing Desean and Vick in another league and I am now projected to score 197 total points in a 14 team league. I did not think that would be possible. Quote
MexicanDragon Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 How the hell am I supposed to know that? I figured there was some mystical and magical system of score keeping, but I'm just looking at the #s as they go. It's all so confusing (Really, though, I SHOULD look into the the scoring rules one of these days). **BRENT** Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Yeah I am playing Desean and Vick in another league and I am now projected to score 197 total points in a 14 team league. I did not think that would be possible. Jebus EDIT - Vick now has 39 points, 9 seconds into 2nd quarter. Edited November 16, 2010 by Salt Peanuts Quote
MoonShine Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Yeah, my man Vick is turning what was a lopsided match into an interesting one. Quote
VPI Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Yeah if Vick plays the whole game you might just take down number one. Quote
MexicanDragon Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Yeah if Vick plays the whole game you might just take down number one. Leaving a 5 way tie for first place... heh. I'm captivated. **BRENT** Quote
MoonShine Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I'm hoping the Redskins can do something so Philly feels the need to keep the gas on. Quote
deepak Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Leaving a 5 way tie for first place... heh. I'm captivated. **BRENT** Only two teams have broke 1000 points Quote

Salt Peanuts Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I'm hoping the Redskins can do something so Philly feels the need to keep the gas on. I think they're trying to oblige. Quote
shellylh Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Holy shite, I thought I had the game wrapped up! Now I really wish I would have played Thomas, Jones or Cassel. Quote
MoonShine Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I have had weeks where my entire team scored less points than Vick has in the first half alone. Edit: My luck: Vick goes for 50 in the 1st half but doesn't get the 4 points I need in the 2nd half. Quote
deepak Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Jebus is right, good god Vick 62 points!!! Quote
shellylh Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Yay for Vicki on the win! Looks like it will be a 4 way tie for first this week. Maybe I will get a "decent" waiver spot for once. Quote
VPI Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I only scored 187 in that other league as Jackson really let me down. We have a new league leader in Deepak and Brent has actually worked his way into a playoff position. This is going to be a real nail biter down to the end of the regular season. Quote
