deepak Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Damnit wish the Eagles game was on SNF instead of the blowout game that will be on. Also can not believe how the Pats give away a 21-0 lead. Quote
VPI Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 I am in a real nail biter with Gene this week. Quote
VPI Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 And the exact opposite on my other team. Number one pick down for the season, number one scorer down for the season. I am done. Quote
deepak Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 I have to say it's annoying that some people will be essentially getting free passes twice in a season with teams that play IR players, bye players etc. Screws it up for people actually playing. Sorry not in a good mood after that Pats game. Quote
n_maher Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Given that Brady decided to throw picks instead of TD's in the second half I'm just happy to be making a game of it. And predictably the TE that I dropped this week would have scored me double digits and the one I picked up is a complete non-factor with 0 points. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Been bit busy so I hadn't gotten around to checking scores (or did I get around to setting my final roster this morning). Much to my surprise, I'm actually winning this week in both leagues. Quote
The Monkey Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 My team was a disaster this weekend. Quote
shellylh Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) The match with Raffy is pretty close: 119/120. Unless Vinatieri misses a field goal, looks like a loss for me. Damn Brady. Also, what the hell happened with your team Jeff? Edited September 26, 2011 by shellylh Quote
VPI Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 What happened is only 2 of my top five players have survived this far into the season. I had Jamaal Charles, Miles Austin, Kenny Britt and Antonio Gates out this week. It didn't help that my replacement players had one that scored 0 and another -2. Quote
Aura Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Pretty easy to figure out why Pak took me by 28 this week. His starting WR's went for 42 while mine put up 5. I also made a slight mistake by keeping Beanie Wells as my second RB prior to the early games starting, and by the time I found out he was sitting out the Cards v. Ravens game I could only swap in Steven Jackson who I knew wasn't going to be productive at all (injury + Ravens D/ST = bad). I guess my only other swap then would've been Jordy Nelson and he didn't have a great day either. And I can't really complain about 27 from Aaron Rodgers, but he had 17 after the 1st quarter so it actually was a letdown that he fell back to earth in the second half. Quote
deepak Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 So glad Wallace and Megatron came through for me this week, sort of needed when the Jets D put up -3 Quote
n_maher Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Ugh, what a mediocre week for my team ... Quote
The Monkey Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 The Jets/Ravens game, WTF??? Let's just say it's not easy being a Jets fan. Quote
deepak Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Pretty epic defense vs defense showdown though. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Sanchez/Flaco stats by 3rd quarter were pretty amusing Quote

MexicanDragon Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 That's all I have to say for this year... seriously... **BRENT** Quote
VPI Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 We'll see who's ing in a few months, my fiend... we'll see... **BRENT** Interesting. Quote
boomana Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Pretty epic defense vs defense showdown though. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Sanchez/Flaco stats by 3rd quarter were pretty amusing Not amusing when Sanchez is your quarterback and you end up with -4 points Quote
deepak Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Not amusing when Sanchez is your quarterback and you end up with -4 points Aww sorry Vicky If it's any consolation I went 0-2 this week Probably more amusing as a Pats fan Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Not amusing when Sanchez is your quarterback and you end up with -4 points x2. That was plain brutal. Quote
emelius Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 See?...You should've stuck with Peyton... Quote
shellylh Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) ^Heh So Jim seems to be the only one undefeated in either league. I guess that proves that cocktails and football are made for one another. Edited October 4, 2011 by shellylh Quote
