I have to say it's annoying that some people will be essentially getting free passes twice in a season with teams that play IR players, bye players etc. Screws it up for people actually playing. Sorry not in a good mood after that Pats game.

Given that Brady decided to throw picks instead of TD's in the second half I'm just happy to be making a game of it. And predictably the TE that I dropped this week would have scored me double digits and the one I picked up is a complete non-factor with 0 points. :palm:

The match with Raffy is pretty close: 119/120. Unless Vinatieri misses a field goal, looks like a loss for me. Damn Brady.

Also, what the hell happened with your team Jeff?

What happened is only 2 of my top five players have survived this far into the season. I had Jamaal Charles, Miles Austin, Kenny Britt and Antonio Gates out this week. It didn't help that my replacement players had one that scored 0 and another -2.

Pretty easy to figure out why Pak took me by 28 this week. His starting WR's went for 42 while mine put up 5.

I also made a slight mistake by keeping Beanie Wells as my second RB prior to the early games starting, and by the time I found out he was sitting out the Cards v. Ravens game I could only swap in Steven Jackson who I knew wasn't going to be productive at all (injury + Ravens D/ST = bad). I guess my only other swap then would've been Jordy Nelson and he didn't have a great day either.

And I can't really complain about 27 from Aaron Rodgers, but he had 17 after the 1st quarter so it actually was a letdown that he fell back to earth in the second half.

Pretty epic defense vs defense showdown though. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Sanchez/Flaco stats by 3rd quarter were pretty amusing smile.png

Not amusing when Sanchez is your quarterback and you end up with -4 points :(

So Jim seems to be the only one undefeated in either league. I guess that proves that cocktails and football are made for one another. biggrin.png

And statistics, don't forget statistics.
