raffy
I just do not think I could live with myself after trading for a kicker. I've never drafted a kicker outside the last round. Maybe it's just me but I've always gotten similar production out of my kickers.
MexicanDragon
I already have my top two kicker choices... sorry, n8. Are we even in the same league? **BRENT**

deepak
I picked my team on a fresh dose of morphine. Who was my first round draft again? (BTW, I was on the road when the draft started... luckily I brought my Chromebook with built-in VZW 3G. I probably used most of my month's allowance on the draft, but whatever. I was able to sign in with about 41 seconds left in my first pick.) When do I play you first, Jeff? I can't wait. **BRENT** I am not sure if trash talk is the best thing with that team of yours this year

Salt Peanuts
Colts made it official...no Manning week one... There are also couple of reports floating around now that he may very well be out for the season. Hopefully that's not the case, as love'em or hate'em, he's great player. VPI
As several team owners for one of my leagues find themselves homeless after the Bastrop fire, I set up a full autodraft that occurred this morning. This is what the #4 pick in an Autodraft in a ten team league gets you. Yuck QB: Matt Schaub, Mark Sanchez, Jason Cambell RB: Arian Foster, LeGarette Blount, Ryan Matthews, Tim Hightower WR: Hakeem Nicks, Mike Wallace, Anquan Boldin, Pierre Garcon, James Jones, Lance Moore TE: Greg Olsen D/ST: NO Kicker: Didn't even check. Yikes
Fucking Floods! I'm in the Scanton TV area, and they are covering local (to them) floods so no NFL tonight. They're saying the same thing over and over, it's annoying. They could show the game and break in with any news, but Noooo. let's cover the same shit 35 times an hour. Am I heartless? Fuck yes. emelius
Marques Colston's out for at least 4 weeks w/a broken collarbone...
boomana
I'm two players, Manning and Colston, down before the second game of the year. Egad.
shellylh
Looks like Foster isn't going to start tomorrow. Now the question is whether to sit him and take a risk with Ben Tate or play one of the other mediocre flex players on my team.
Salt Peanuts
Just noticed defense are getting different amount of points between the two leagues. I was going insane trying to figure out why Browns D/ST was getting more points in league one.
shellylh
Why is that?
Salt Peanuts
Amount of points D/ST gets based on points allowed is different between the two leagues (e.g., in league one, D/ST gets 10 points for shutout while in league two it gets you 5 points). MexicanDragon
Grrrr... Shelly mentioned Foster, but I forgot she's playing both leagues. I have him, and left him in. I liked it better last year when I was winning a fair amount without doing anything. **BRENT**
shellylh
Why do we have different scoring in the two leagues Jeff? Just to make it more fun. Wish I would have taken the risk and played Tate. He is doing pretty well.... ok well, really, the Texans are killing the Colts which makes me happy. I liked it better last year when I was winning a fair amount without doing anything. Hehe. Edited September 11, 2011 by shellylh
Salt Peanuts
^ I wish they weren't killing the Colts so well, though. I've a feeling Johnson, whom I have starting in the first league, won't be playing all that much in the 2nd half if the Texans are ahead by 3+ touchdowns. EDIT - And friggin' Cutler is outscoring Roethlisberger through the first half. Edited September 11, 2011 by Salt Peanuts
MexicanDragon
Hopefully Cutler won't do better than Romo, b/c that would be yet ANOTHER mistake today so far. **BRENT**
Yikes
Wow, I can't believe how much more enjoyable watching the games is when in a fantasy league. I hope I can talk people into a Hockey league this year.
Salt Peanuts
...and I'll be starting this year in both leagues like I have the past two years - with a loss. Hopefully, I won't start 1-4 like I've done the past two years as well.
