Salt Peanuts Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 At least you're still above .500. I'd be happy if I can get to .500 by the end of the year. Quote
The Monkey Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Jeff, I take solace in the fact that if you had played any of your other bench players (well, practically) I would have gotten crushed. The loss of Reggie bush and failure of others to contribute with no viable free agent RBs is going to make it a tough year for me to be anything other than average. Except that there are so many injuries now, that guys 3rd on the depth chart are now getting big playing time. Brutal league. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 ...and they are going to 18 games. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Took Rodgers out of the lineup earlier in the week since I didn't know if he'll be able to play, and I didn't know I'd have time on Sunday to adjust the lineup. Predictably, he's playing and he's scored 12 points already. Quote
n_maher Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I expect to lose to Brent this week, despite the fact that he played a player on the bye. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 ^ He had Cutler playing last week and still scored 95 points. Quote
deepak Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Predicting Jeff goes 6-0, I am in for a home wrecking this week Quote
n_maher Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 ^ He had Cutler playing last week and still scored 95 points. I made a homer mistake by playing Brady and my running back core is god-awful. Quote
deepak Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Even Roethlesberger being back isn't doing a whole lot for my two WR Quote
boomana Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 My guys are barely doing anything. What the has heck happened to Wes Welker? Quote
boomana Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 I wasn't even sure Welker was playing because he'd had 0 yards for the first half. He got some points second half. I just realized that I'll need close around 50 points to win, and was counting on Brandon Lloyd to have another great week. The only problem is that he and my kicker are playing against my defense. n_maher Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Worst Week Ever I may have to resign. Quote
deepak Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 God damn, bench my one WR who scores 24 points because ESPN projected an all time low 2 points for him. Raging pretty hard right now Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Well, at least the Pats won. My team, on the other hand, is back to its losing ways. Quote

VPI Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Looks like we will have no undefeated teams after this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Despite a nice game by Addai and very good return by Roethlisberger, I'll be at 1-5, unless CJ & Kenny Brit combines to score less than 6 points. I don't remember the last time I did this poorly. Quote

MexicanDragon Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Oh yeah, fantasy football. Guess I should subscribe to this thread. I picked my team on draft night and, well, wound up going through a bunch of crap. I actually remembered to set up my team one week, but then wound up not being able to, so I play with injured players and players on bye weeks. Ooops. I can't believe I have two losses now. It makes me sad. If I win this week, though, I'll be at .667. That's not bad for an almost-par-from-the-beginning team that hasn't been managed at all, right? **BRENT** Quote
shellylh Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Hi Brent! Despite a nice game by Addai and very good return by Roethlisberger, I'll be at 1-5, unless CJ & Kenny Brit combines to score less than 6 points. I don't remember the last time I did this poorly. I, for one, am hoping that CJ+Britt can score 6+ points against Jacksonville! I mean, someone has to give Jeff some competition, right? Quote

Trust me you don't need to dedicate much time to FF, a few minutes to switch around bye players and look up projections is all there is to it. It will be nice to have another competing team! Quote
boomana Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I keep losing, though my scores have always been better than half the league each time. Oh well. Quote
