Salt Peanuts
True to those words, he loses a fumble. The second half has been brutal to watch.
n_maher
True to those words, he loses a fumble. The second half has been brutal to watch. A truly perfect ending to a wretched second half.
The Monkey
That second half turned out to be pretty entertaining in The Monkeyhouse.
deepak
Step out for the second half and the Pats fall apart
shellylh
Being in Germany, I missed all the games yesterday and have no clue what happened to my precious Chris Johnson. Still did ok though, sorry Deepak, no birthday wins. Dinny's team is looking a bit better than last week.
VPI
Yeah I would be in a great position tonight if the suck-ass Giants had just laid down instead of keeping everyone in for trash scores. Now I need Brees to lay an egg and I will be okay.
Salt Peanuts
I just need Thomas and Hartly to score 68 points between them tonight. I think that's doable I hate my damn receivers - I really hope Jackson gets traded to Vikings or another team with good QB.
boomana
Well, I'm probably going to have my second loss. Brent had three big point guys yesterday, and I pretty much had only Peyton Manning. I've got three players tonight, but unless Gore and Colston have an amazing night, I'm done. I've got Shockey on TE, but Brent has Davis, and I'm betting Davis will pick up more points.
shellylh
Don't give up yet Vicki, you still have three players!!
audiosceptic
Now I need Brees to lay an egg and I will be okay. I don't think so.
VPI
I am okay with him scoring 25 points but nothing more. I feel comfortable knowing he is on the cover of Madden '11 and will probably have a career ending injury tonight.
VPI
That was way too close. I had two leagues that came down to that last field goal.
boomana
Well, I got close again this game, but lost again. I was hoping Colston or Shockey could have picked up at least a couple more. Oh well. I wonder how hurt Reggie Bush is.
VPI
Yeah Brent played an injured player for the second game in a row and because of a big game by McCoy it actually got him a win this time. Looks like Shelly will remain at the top of the pack, though it have cut into her lead a bit.
deepak
I'll be pretty content with just breaking .500 in this league
audiosceptic
That was way too close. I had two leagues that came down to that last field goal. I was so hoping that would go into overtime.
VPI
I was sweating there, as you would have had the win easily with an overtime period. That 2 Pt. Conversion failure then overturn was the end for me in my mind as I did not see Brees marching down the field. The funny thing was in another league I was playing Colston, Thomas and Hartley so it ended up working out well for me.
shellylh
I thought there were no points gained or lost from overtime play.
Salt Peanuts
I'll be pretty content with just breaking .500 in this league x2, though truthfully, I'll be happy if I can get at least one win before the bye weeks starts. It doesn't look like it's going to happen though, as I'll be facing Jeff this week.
boomana
I'll be facing Shelly, so I'm probably going to be 0-3 going into the bye week.
VPI
There is really no telling how scoring will go. Each week so far some unexpected player has shown up huge, Lesean McCoy, Jahvid Best, Snelling, etc. and players that were supposed to be studs, Greene, Ryan Matthews have sucked so you never really know what will happen. VPI
I thought there were no points gained or lost from overtime play. I seem to remember always getting overtime points last year.
Salt Peanuts
I seem to remember always getting overtime points last year. I'm pretty sure we did.
raffy
Yeah, I'm sure we've always gotten OT points.
shellylh
I seem to remember always getting overtime points last year. That seems unfair. Vicki: You really never know. My luck could run out at any time now.
